• These rules do no apply to any fun events except the Driving Etiquette and are subject to change.

• Racing Server name = "IronmanRacingLeague.FreeForums .net"
in the ASSETTO CORSA ingame server list and Content Manager (once you get there, please mark it as a favorite)
• The Race Server Password: If there is one you will be notified in our Discord server...
Discord Info:
• We have a Discord server available for communication
between players and the information is in the forums
to registered members only.
• All "OFFICIAL LEAGUE" Tracks/Mods and game extras are available
for d/l in these FORUMS.
Racing and League Info/Rules:
• The day, week and Track location of each event will be pre-anounced and posted on the league FORUMS at IronmanRacingLeague.FreeForums.net ...
• Once announced the tracks/mod will not be subject to change unless a serious problem is found with the track/mod at time of event. We will do our best to find any problems with the selected tracks/mod before race time to prevent a bad race experience.
Event Procedure:
• The order of events will be follow regardless of the number of participants.
• (2) 20 minute races with a reversed grid for race #2
• All "official" weekly events will start saturday nights @ 9:00pm (E.S.T) with a 20 minute practice, (the server is up 24/7) you can practice anytime.
• A 10 minute qualifying session starts at 9:20pm (E.S.T.) There will be a 5 minute break between the end of Qualifying and the start of the 1st race for you to make a drink, have a smoke, use the restroom, eat some pizza, order a hooker, whatever....
• Race #1 will be a Standing Start @ approximately 9:35pm (E.S.T)... There is 5 minute break between Race #1 and #2...
• Race #2 will be a Standing Start @ approximately 10:00 ish (E.S.T.)...
Pitstops:
• There are "NO MANDATORY PITSTOPS" in effect at this time, but if you crash or end up with major damage, you may pit and repair your car if you choose to do so. If your car is damaged please move off the driving line so undamaged cars behind you trying to pass can get by you without a struggle.
• White/yellow line at pit in and exit are to be obeyed when there is faster traffic around regardless of their position. Entrance and Exit's on and off Pit road are different for each track and are the responsibility of each and every driver to be adhered to or possible stop and go penalties MAY incur.
Blue Flag Rule:
• If you get a BLUE flag during the race it is NOT mandatory to pull over and let the car behind you go, but it is MANDATORY for you to "HOLD YOUR LINE" and give room for the Faster car to GET AROUND YOU WITHOUT INCIDENT. If you are 1 or more laps down then it would be GENTLEMANLY of you to let them go by and not fight the Leaders.
Driving Etiquette:
• On track there should be give and take, Remember its a 20 minute race so you're not going to win the race in turn 1 of lap 1, the only thing you win is bragging rights so it won’t kill you to let someone back into line or let them gather it back up when they slip up, or if you bump them off track.
• We expect you to drive other players cleanly as you would expect them to drive you clean.
• It is the Faster drivers RESPONSIBILITY to make their way around SLOWER traffic without incident.
• If you happen to spin someone out it is NOT mandatory but we use a Gentlemens Agreement to let the car we spun back in front of us, even if it means you lose a few spots in the process.
• Flashing Headlights is "NOT ALLOWED" as a "DISTRACTION" technique to make the car in front of you make a mistake on track. This is very frowned upon and could result in a penalty for the race if there is a complaint/protest. You may flash you lights at a car that was off the racing surface and coming back on track to let them know you are in the same area and hopefully they will not pull out in front of you. You may also run with your lights on the entire race but it's not mandatory.
• Restarts at the discretion of the admins but most likely will not happen unless most of the field is wrecked at the start or turn 1. If multiple cars are wrecked at the start and you are one of them, please announce "RESTART" in Discord (MORE THAN 1 PERSON HAS TO CALL THIS OR ITS NO GOOD) For a Re-Start the ADMIN will announce “RESTART” on TeamSpeak, if he determines that one is needed. Keep Racing until you hear the command by the ADMIN, if you don’t hear the ADMIN say Restart then keep driving because a restart is not happening. A restart will not happen after the leader has completed one (1) lap.
• Do not cut the course. A course cut is defined as an intentional leave of the driving surface in an attempt to gain a distinct time advantage.
• Do not short the course. A course short is intentionally not making all the portions of a chicane in an attempt to gain time. To not short the course you must have at least two (2) wheels on the driving surface at any point in time. The admin(s) understand than we are not professional drivers and sometimes have an off here and there.
• You are allowed to block cars that are on the same lap as you, even if you are on different strategies, with the following restrictions:
• You may only change your line once on each straight unless you are weaving trying to break the "DRAFT EFFECT". (we can tell the difference in the replay) When side by side with another car and decide for the inside line into a corner you must stay there (i.e. can’t drift back out on exit, give the other driver room)
any infractions of these rules can result in a penalty ranging from a warning up to disqualification from the race with NO points given for that event. So please try and keep driving incidents to a minimum.
• Re-join the track/racing line after it clears. If you make the error, you better be ready to rejoin when those that did not make an error are safely past.
Please use the mandatory HELICORSA app and your mirrors (F11) to your best ability, especially when re-entering the track from an off.
Dirty Driving:
• Anyone that is suspected of intentionally wrecking someone in a race will be sent to the RACE COMMITTEE FOR REVIEW. If the race committee comes to the conclusion that an individual has indeed taken another person out intentionally, there will be a discussion amongst the admins on the course of action from a warning to ban from league. I have been seeing this happen when im making the videos and i have been very cool about not doing anything about it. But the time has come to start penalizing drivers for this B.S. (YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WARNED) I will be making penalties "public" for everyone to see so if you dont like being called out, dont do stupid stuff that will get you a penalty.
• Bottom line is don’t do it no matter what.
• At this time we do not have a Race Moderator to watch over everyone in the race so if you don’t report it then chances are i will not see it, but i will when i watch the replay, so again, dont do it...
Points:
• The points system for each race will be as follows:
EXAMPLE of a race...
• 1st place will receive 20 points, 2nd = 19 points and so on until you reach 20th place who will get 1 point. if there are more than 20 cars in the server, 20th on down will get 0 points
• The Champion is the person who accumulates the most points at the conclusion of the final event of the racing season, so we advise you make as many races as you can to have a shot at the Points Championship.
Driving View and Setups:
• HELICORSA or CAR RADAR is now MANDATORY to Race in the Ironman Racing League.
• The driving views are open to whatever you prefer.

• RACE #2 = Standing Start
• For Ovals, we will do a MANUAL Rolling Start where the leader calls GO GO GO on Discord.
Screen Names:
it is required for you to use the screen name you sign up for the league as i will not combine your points for multiple screen names so please keep that in mind... (also it is difficult for me to keep track if you are a registered member and you might get kicked from the server if you are not a registered driver...(fair warning)
Server Issues and Faulty Equipment:
• If the server is causing problems for three (3) or more drivers the ADMIN(s) will determine if the race will need to be postponed until the following week.
• In the event of a race being postponed, all remaining races will be run as scheduled and the postponed track will be moved to the end of the schedule.
• If you have a problem with your equipment at anytime during the event let the administrator know as soon as possible and we will do all we can, within reason, to get you back up to speed.
Above all, please do not let an on track incident ruin your day and make you mad, remember at the end of the day and reality sets in, it's only a game thats meant to be fun and enjoyable.
We are all here because we love to race hard and have a good time. Let us have a wonderful and competitive league.
Credit needs to be given to: the Nascar Heat Aliannce Racing Team, ASRWC Team, Team Zerkel Motor Werks and the SpeedRacin Team, whos guidelines we have taken bits and pieces from and formed into the above rules.

ALL League Drivers Must Read & Sign at bottom of this thread.
LEAGUE AND SERVER RULES:
Server Use:
• The Race Server will be up mostly 24/7 for as much practice as you want during non league events.
• These rules are to be applied to functions on the IRONMAN RACING LEAGUE server that are considered to be “League” or “Special” events.
• These rules do no apply to any fun events except the Driving Etiquette and are subject to change.
Server Info:
• Racing Server name = "IronmanRacingLeague.FreeForums .net #2" or "IronmanRacingLeague.FreeForums .net #3"
in the ASSETTO CORSA ingame server list and Content Manager (once you get there, please mark it as a favorite)
• The Race Server Password: You ALL should know it by now, if not ask for it in the Discord server or PM the Admin here...
• (2) races (race #2 = rev grid), 100% tires, 50% damage.
• All "official" weekly events will be: Friday Nights @ 9:00pm (E.S.T) for Nascar with a 20 minute practice, A 10 minute qualifying session with 1 car on the track at a time driving 3 passes by pit exit and then pitting. A set number of laps will be determined on a track by track basis (usually the equivalent to 20 min).
• A 10 minute qualifying session starts at 8:20pm (E.S.T.) There will be a 5 minute break between the end of Qualifying and the start of the 1st race for you to make a drink, have a smoke, use the restroom, eat some pizza, order a hooker, whatever....
• Both of the Race's will be a Rolling Start (1 PACE LAP) Race #1 @ approximately 9:35pm (E.S.T.) - Race #2 (Rev Grid) @ approximatley 7:00pm E.S.T.
• The DR_Yellow Flag App will start the race...
Pitstops:
• There is NO "MANDATORY PITSTOPS" in effect at this time.
If your car is damaged please move off the driving line so undamaged cars behind you trying to pass can get by you without a struggle.
• White/yellow line at pit in is to be obeyed at ALL times regardless of where other cars are on track. Entrance and Exit's on and off Pit road are in different places for each track and are the RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH AND EVERY DRIVER to be adhered to or possible stop and go penalties or worse MAY incur.
YELLOW FLAG Rule:
Please pay attention to the DR_Flag App and Announcer Bot to instruct you on the restart procedure. The Admin will also let you know if you are to get a lap back, PLEASE pay attention to the ADMIN.
If you are 1 or more laps down then it would be GENTLEMENLY of you to let them go by and not fight the Leaders too hard.
Driving Etiquette:
• On track there should be give and take, Remember its a race so you're not going to win the race in turn 1 of lap 1, the only thing you win is bragging rights so it won’t kill you to let someone back into line or let them gather it back up when they slip up.
• We expect you to drive other players cleanly as you would expect them to drive you clean.
• It is the Faster drivers RESPONSIBILITY to make their way around SLOWER traffic without incident.
• If you happen to spin someone out it is NOT mandatory to wait for them.
• Restarts at the discretion of the admins but most likely will not happen unless most of the field is wrecked at the start or turn 1. If multiple cars are wrecked at the start and you are one of them, please announce "RESTART" in Discord (MORE THAN 1 PERSON HAS TO CALL THIS OR ITS NO GOOD) For a Re-Start the ADMIN will announce “RESTART” on DISCORD, if he determines that one is needed. Keep Racing until you hear the command by the ADMIN, if you don’t hear the ADMIN say Restart then keep driving because a restart is not happening. A restart will not happen after the leader has completed one (1) lap.
• Do not cut the course. A course cut is defined as an intentional leave of the driving surface in an attempt to gain a distinct time advantage, ie: Driving under the corner lines, (WHITE OR YELLOW).
The admin(s) understand than we are not professional drivers and sometimes have an off or make a mistake here and there.
• You are allowed to block cars that are on the same lap as you, even if you are on different strategies, with the following restrictions:
• You may only change your line once unless you are weaving trying to break the "DRAFT EFFECT". (we can tell the difference in the replay) When side by side with another car and decide for the inside line into a corner you must stay there (i.e. can’t drift back out on exit, give the other driver room), any infractions of these rules can result in a penalty ranging from a warning up to disqualification from the race with NO points given for that event. So please try and keep driving incidents to a minimum.
• Re-join the track/racing line after it clears. If you make the error, you better be ready to rejoin when those that did not make an error are safely past.
Please install and use the mandatory 3 Apps for League Racing:

and

and also use your virtual mirror (F11) to your best ability, especially when re-entering the track from an off.
• Bottom line is, don’t be an ass on the track no matter what.
• The driving views are open to whatever you prefer.
• Open Setups are in place.
Screen Names:
it is required for you to use the same screen name for online racing, discord and for the sign up for the league as i will not combine your points for multiple screen names so please keep that in mind... (also it is difficult for me to keep track if you are a registered member and you might get kicked from the server if you are not a registered driver...(fair warning)

• These are optional in the interest of keeping the slower guys up to speed we will allow the following.
• Auto Pit Lane On

Type of Race & Start Procedure:
• Race Length:(2) races and the laps will be determined on a track by track basis, (basically 20 min)
• BOTH RACES = Rolling Start, Determined by the DR_Flag App.
