So, for a while now, we thought the tree growing near our shed needed to come down. The roots are probably growing around the foundation. The leaves and twigs falls on the roof and cause moss. Every year it gets bigger and bigger and closer to the shed!
We had it taken down this last Saturday. The man climbing is a pro, who owns a business where he charges some people lots of money to deal with trees. He has been climbing for over 30 years. He is a really good friend of my best friend's dad. And me being Polish, entitles me to a discount. A couple years ago he climbed five trees for 800$. And this year he took the one next to the shed for 200$. We have him climb and cut it down, and once it is on the ground it is our problem. We don't have anyone chip or mulch or split or grind the stump either.
Here is on of the last branches taken down by rope.
Here is the final top branch taken down.

Behind
behind our property is an easement for the power and water company. they recently replaced some old wooden pol structures with new metal ones. Once they finished, the lumberjack crew came through to clear the area for the new placement of power lines.

They took down a our tree that was leaning over pretty bad. The top of it was overhanging onto their side. If you can hear, Adam is reading on his zoom lesson while the chain saw is going.
